IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
As of Monday 11th July 2022, Kirkview Medical Practice has notified NHS Lanarkshire of our plans to reduce our services over the next few weeks, due to long-term illness amongst Practice staff and holiday leave. We have little to no cover to assist with absences. We will maintain an emergency on the day service only for our GPs. In the meantime, please consider whether it is necessary to contact the practice, and consider visiting your local pharmacy or the NHS Inform website for advice and guidance. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your consideration of this information.

There is help and advice on the NHS Lanarkshire website, including 'Meet the experts', which offers a range of services that local healthcare professionals across Lanarkshire can provide. You can go directly to the right healthcare professional for the help you need, when you need it, and you don't have to see your GP first or face a lengthy wait in A&E. For more information, please visit https://www.nhslanarkshire.scot.nhs.uk/experts/
The NHS Inform website (www.nhsinform.scot) also provides advice on self-care and NHS24 can provide urgent health advice out-of-hours by calling 111. Your local pharmacy is your first port of call for minor ailments, which assists the practice greatly in freeing up appointments for those who need them.
